Cycling mugs...

Here's a few images of the cycling mugs my husband, Brian, and I have made. They will be exclusively available at BELLA for the time being.

The hand carved ones wrap all around the mug. They are also numbered. Only 14 were made.

The others are silk-screened on the clay. Each is labeled Baker City, OR.

When we make more I'll post them here or on Etsy.

Family Vacation Opening

Here's a little video of the opening of the "Family Vacation" show this past Friday at the Benjamin Benjamin Gallery in Hood River. Myah and Scott helped throw a great opening. There was live music, open fire for making s'mores and great art. The displays that were created showed off the trailers great.

The show will be up till Oct. 31st so if you're in the area be sure to stop in and see the new work.

Pinkstream

I created this one upon the request of my friends at Crow Valley Pottery. I would have never thought to make a pink travel trailer on my own. In fact I originally thought it wouldn't look so good, but when it came out of the kiln. It was instantly my new favorite.

Mini Trailer

I also create mini trailers. I made these to be part of a cone box show.

It's a ceramics tradition to make small scale work that could fit into a cone box. Cone boxes are what witness cones come in. They tell you when your kiln has reached temperature by bending over in the heat.

Bird House

Here's one of the bird house travel trailers. I'll have a few of these at Ceramic Showcase as well.

If you live in an area that gets cold in the winter, I recommend you bring them in out of the elements.
